Nowadays, Bubba works as the Southeastern Regional Monster Hunter for the Holy Roman Catholic Church alongside his GBF (gay best friend) Skeeter, hunting down monsters and blowing stuff up! They team up with everyone from Skeeter's uncle Joe, who also happens to be a priest and their liaison with the Church (yes, he is in fact Uncle Father Joe!) to Agent Amy Hall with the super-secret (and super-shady) government agency known as DEMON (nobody can remember what it stands for, but it's something that reeeeaaalllly stretches to spell DEMON).

They fight werewolves in strip clubs, hunt Bigfoots in Alabama, and battle vampire ballet dancers in the middle of a Nutcracker performance. And that's just in Season One!
